Michelle Chagnon, LPN
Gynecology and Wellness Nurse
Michelle has recently joined the team at Vermont Women's Wellness as Dr. Viselli's assistant. Whether it be a routine annual exam, a gynecologic or a urogynecologic problem, Michelle will be there to greet you, take your history and assist Dr. Viselli in procedures as necessary. Michelle will address your concerns and answer your questions thoroughly and compassionately both on the phone and in person. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including a busy urology practice, and thus brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her. A Vermont native, Michelle obtained her degree from Vermont Technical College. When not at the office, Michelle enjoys hiking, biking and spending time with friends and family, particularly her adorable one year old daughter!
Penny Fairhurst, RN, CCRC
Certified Clinical Research Coordinator
Penny has over 15 years of research experience, specializing in both pharmaceutical and physician-initiated research trials. While pursuing her Bachelor̢۪s degree, Penny interned at the Spine Institute of New England as a research assistant for back pain clinical trials. She then spent several years in the department of Dermatology at Fletcher Allen Health Care serving as their clinical research coordinator. Before she joined our team, Penny had been the supervisor of gynecological research in Women̢۪s Health at FAHC, overseeing all pharmaceutical and federally funded reseach studies. Since 2008, Penny has been the Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator for all clinical trials at Vermont Women̢۪s Wellness. Her dedication and enthusiasm for research and her ability to secure trials through her expertise and attention to detail has made Vermont Women̢۪s Wellness a sought after private practice for clinical research. In her spare time, Penny enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, boating, hiking and camping.
Bethany Fox, BSN, RN, MBA
Urodynamics and Pelvic Floor Reeducation Specialist
Bethany brings her expertise in many areas of nursing to Vermont Women̢۪s Wellness. She received her nursing degree from the University of Vermont and her Master̢۪s of Business Administration in Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix. She has functioned in many roles before joining our practice as our urodynamics and pelvic floor therapy nurse: in a nursing home setting, in private practice, as a staff nurse in a Telemetry/Cardiac Step Down Unit, as a Nursing Supervisor and as an Emergency/Ambulatory Care Center staff nurse at Copley Hospital where she remains employed. Her confident and easy manner will quickly put you at ease in what otherwise may be tense or potentially uncomfortable situation. When not working, Bethany enjoys spending time with her family, skiing and enjoying the many outdoor activities that Vermont has to offer.
Sara McDonell
Practice Support Specialist
Sara is our ever capable Practice Support Specialist! A native of Ogdensburg, NY, Sara attended SUNY Canton University in pursuit of her nursing degree but her love of all things horses led her and her horse "Derry" to Florida where she trained with an Olympic Bronze Medalist in the sport of Dressage. We are fortunate that her family and neighboring horse farm drew her back to Vermont where she worked in various settings in an practice support role, most recently with Green Mountain Member Care Services. She brings her excellent computer and communication skills and her cheery personality to Vermont Women's Wellness. When not greeting patients at the office, Sara enjoys spending time teaching riding lessons, training, riding and spoiling her three horses and spending time with her dogs, family and beloved group of barn women!
Angel Perry, MA
Primary Care Medical Assistant
Angel was born in Poland and emigrated with her family to Canada when she was 10 years-old. Angel trained as an LPN at Jewish General Hospital with a surgical interniship at Lashore Hospital and worked at Mediservice for 8 years before relocating to Vermont with her family. She currently lives in Swanton with her husband and 2 sons. Angel is currently persuing her RN. She speaks fluent French and enjoys reading books by James Petterson and Jeffery Deaver.
Belinda Thibault, LPN
Surgery Scheduler, Practice Manager and Billing Specialist
Belinda wears many hats and all with impeccable style! She may greet you on the telephone, schedule your surgery with compassion and efficiency, answer your billing questions and even draw your blood in a pinch! Before joining our practice, Belinda served in many capacities: as a nurse in an Intensive Care/ Coronary Care Unit, as a receptionist/nurse in both university and private practices and as a school nurse for various Vermont elementary schools. When not keeping the providers and staff at Vermont Women̢۪s Wellness on task, Belinda enjoys spending time on her boat with her husband and her beloved corgi, Pepper Louis.
